My family has been eating at La Familia since it opened in 1975 and it has been run by the same family. The food is always excellent and the friendly service on point. During the winter months you can’t miss the cous-cous served every Wednesday. (A reservation is a must)

Really tasty food and friendly, helpful staff who speak English ! The menu in the local language:). We wanted to go there more than twice but the opening hours were different from the ones given by google (end of May trip).

Beautiful little hidden gem in la isleta. Authentic, reasonably priced and pretty. Very Spanish so if you only speak English you'll struggle but lovely

Todo espectacular! La ubicación es inmejorable, con vistas al mar y una terraza muy agradable. La comida está riquísima, todo lo que pedimos estaba perfectamente presentado y con mucho sabor. El ambiente es relajado pero con estilo, ideal para ir con amigas o en plan más tranquilo. El personal muy amable y atento . Volveremos sin duda !!

Everything spectacular! The location is unbeatable, with sea views and a very pleasant terrace. The food is delicious, everything we ordered was perfectly presented and very flavorful. La Familia, comme son nom indique est un restaurant très familial, superbe accueil des grands sourires, rien à voir avec le restaurant d’à côté Restaurante La Playita, là où la moitié de la carte n’est pas disponible le soir. Niveau qualité prix, le goût vaut la le prix rien à dire on reviendra

Fenomenal. El primer día de vacaciones en Alicante siempre lo dedicamos a comer aquí. Deliciosos los espaguetis frutti di mare, carbonara y los de cigalas (los mejores), que repetimos cada año. Trato de los camareros excepcional. Precio con bebidas sobre 20 euros por persona, pero raciones inmensas! Le pongo un 9. Con pasta fresca sería de 10!!!

Phenomenal. We always dedicate the first day of our vacation in Alicante to eating here. The spaghetti frutti di mare, carbonara, and the crayfish (the best) are delicious, and we repeat them every year. The waiters are exceptional. Prices with drinks are around 20 euros per person, but the portions are huge! I give it a 9. With fresh pasta, it would be a 10!!!

Y todos los postres exquisitos ojo la tarta de queso quizás de las mejores de Alicante y la torrija de escándalo. Whenever I choose this restaurant to invite friends or family, we're all incredibly satisfied. The atmosphere is very pleasant, especially in the summer evenings. The staff is very friendly, as always. For those unfamiliar with La Familia, start with the pâté. For starters, a salmon crepe, Andalusian squid, octopus carpaccio, and a main course of crayfish spaghetti. And all the desserts are exquisite—the cheesecake, perhaps one of the best in Alicante, and the French toast is amazing. They recommended a wine we really liked, a Ribera Arroyo red wine, fresh, smooth, and fruity. Average price: €35, with plenty of food.

Sito de to la vida que se resume en una palabra: INCREÍBLE. No se falla eligiendo comida por que todo merece la pena, pero por elegir, quizás la pasta de cigala y la torrija de postre se llevan la palma. El servicio de lujo y la terraza genial.
